TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.

What You Trade On

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.

FIX API is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That should be a good addition when it arrives.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and what you get is strong. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Here is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It does inform your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
